Things and events will shape and mould you, and reactions to actions can have immediate and far reaching consequences, with outcomes that are way beyond whatever you could have imagined in those decision making moments.
Wisdom doesn’t come with age at all, it certainly can, but it’s not a given or absolute certainty. Words that are spat out in nativity and ignorance are ageless, and the world is littered with the uneaten phlegm of human expletive. The chattering monkey sitting on your shoulder eventually gravitates to your head, a prime place and space to mess with your mind.
If you live long enough and are aware enough to know better now than you did then, if you have paid for being attentive, have remained awake enough through life’s ups and downs and haven’t succumbed to creeping cynicism, then some sort of wisdom can hook on and guide you forward.
