![]() In a remote location, in a very dog friendly Banjar, in a quiet village, in a hidden home and garden environment. Four Bali Street Dogs have found their final home and a safe welcoming place to live out their remaining years. Their journey is already woven into thewww.thebalistreetdog.com website. They are simply a representation of the Bali Dog, there to mirror one of nature’s oldest beings to the world community. Much has been written about the Bali dog and its relationship with Bali People. Too much has been written maligning the people of Bali in regard to how their treat their Island Dog. There is good and bad in all cultures. That is an irrefutable argument. Through ignorance based on supposed well-meaning intent or motivated by whatever cause, a continued stanch on generalized criticism, is not acceptable or true. We are not experts, but have no problem at all in speaking to our observations and continued real world contact with Bali People and their unique Heritage Dog. We reserve the right to defend a people who do love their dog, even when it is not in keeping with how we Westerners or White Knights, believe they should behave. The four Bali Dogs who came into our lives, are very much alive and coping just fine. And the only reason they have survived, thrived and adapted, is because we and Bali people worked closely together, on a shared reality of mutual respect and a combined love of all Natures offspring. Sultan, Japano and Pepe now live in a safe place with kind people. Bindi decided to continue as a street dog and roams a village area with freedom and attention. They have all been reunited with Bali and her people and we are eternally grateful. Thank you. ‘May you continue to live long and roam free’. ‘Bless you’.
