![]() Attempting to convince anyone else that your opinion is right is of little use and energy. The paradox of this modern human made world is the overwhelming evidence that our very real unavoidable interconnectedness, has in fact pushed us further away from any local or global agreement, on just about anything and everything. It is debatable and certainly open for discussion as to whether or not the Bali Dog has any value at all on any level. It can also be argued that their worth is purely academic and their continued existence is vastly important in the much larger scheme of life. Unfortunately any chance of sensible debate or conversation on the welfare of anything these days seems to generate hardened positions on all sides. This warfare usually results in an energy sapping standoff that moves swiftly to a point of collective muteness, especially for those who are aware of the inescapable fact that we are now more than ever before, all connected and interdependent on this isolated rock. Due to a rampant and out of control “make it bleed to feed my greed” mentality, whether it’s the Bali Street Dog or any other hoofed, winged, gilled, frilled or footed being, the rage against species extinction and suffering must continue. So it’s not a time to be silent and beaten, it’s a time to scream loud and clear for all inhabitants on this planet, that enough is enough and like the Bali Dog, survival against the powerful and greedy is a matter of survival for all not just the few.
